Dani Llamas is back
in scene after releasing
2 solo albums "Speaking thru
the others" (2010) and
"Minor Epic" (2011).

His new single "Survivors" was recorded at his home studio the first days of January, 2012.

The three songs, "Survivors", "Medicine Man" and "Into the Light" feature a number of remarkable collaborators as Rafa Camisón,
Llibertat Aguilar, Paco Loco, Miguel Caturani, Juan Ewan and Juan Azagra.

This  is meant to be a gift, an ep single to celebrate the new year and the birth of his daughter Julia.

The production duties are taken care by Dani Llamas himself.
There are a good bunch of new tourdates, 2012 will be a great year!

Dani Llamas: vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, keyboard, bass.
Rafa Camisón: drums, percussion.

Recorded, arranged and mixed at Dani LLamas' home studio.
Drums and percusion recorded at Studio 79 by Rafa Camisón.

Survivors

The music beats my head
as hard
as the peasant grabs the flower.
And we will hold our breath
Before
We call ourselves
We call ourselves survivors.
Survivors.

Shining a light for the heroes we killed
For the bottles we spilt
For the years that we lived
The years that we lived.

Survivors.

The music beats my head
as hard
as the peasant grabs the flower.
And we will hold our breath
Before
We call ourselves
We call ourselves survivors.
Survivors.

The music beats my head
as hard
as the peasant grabs the flower.
And we will hold our breath
Before
We call ourselves
We call ourselves survivors.
Survivors.

Shining a light for the heroes we killed
For the bottles we spilt
For the years that we lived
The years that we lived.

Survivors.

The music beats my head
as hard
as the peasant grabs the flower.
And we will hold our breath
Before
We call ourselves
We call ourselves survivors.
Survivors.

Medicine man

I will wait for the medicine man
to heal my mind and fix my heart.

I will wait for the medicine man
to carry my bones and bury them far.

Nothing feels better than sit down and talk
with a hand on the chest, on the blood, on the sore.

Nothingness, oceans are breaking the walls and taking my feelings to a brand new home.

I can't wait longer
I will bury my past
End of the story.

I will wait for the medicine man
to hear him say "boy, you get what you deserve".

I won't complain if he cheats me or lie,
I could stay around and cry.

I can't wait longer
I will bury my past
End of the story.

I will wait for the medicine man
to heal my mind and fix my heart.

Into the light

The world is silent to me
I will say nothing today
I see the darkness in everyone.

Outside my window
I can see nothing
Looks like the storm will never pass

In the horizon I can see
your little candle bright and still
I want to dive into the light

I'll watch the rain
wash away my pain.
I'll read your postcards on the fridge

In the horizon I can see
your little candle bright and still
I want to dive into the light

The prophet will leave to the mountains again
The strength of his words is the weakness of sin
You'll have to decide if you'll dive into the light,

Into the light.
